Until season 1990/91, the Founders' Shield was contested by the First Team and Second Team. In seasons 1997/98, 2001/02 and 2002/03, the Old Boys joined in. From 2004/05 and thereafter, the FS was contested by the First Team and the Old Boys Team, until 2007/08 when two Old Boys teams took part. From season 2014/15 onwards, a TF Founders' XI participated. Where three teams participated in the competition, the team finishing second has been shown in each case.

LB = Played on a league basis. Two points for a win, one point for a draw. Where points tie for first place, goal difference is disregarded and the priority is given to any 'lesser' team to determine the winners, according to this order: 1. Old Boys Team; 2. Second Team; 3. First Team. Where the Second Team or Old Boys Team tie on points with an invitational Founders' XI, goal difference applies first.

PC = Determined by Performance Criteria. Score given denotes points gained over the course of the season from match results (goalscoring) comparisons.
