Today is a big event for Temple Fortune Football Club. And we thought we would share it with you!
We are the longest running club participating in the Maccabi (Southern) Football League continuously since 1976. We are also the only club to have participated in every season of the Maccabi Masters Football League since it was formed in 1999.
Today we are commemorating our 40th anniversary of being formed, an achievement we are celebrating by returning to TFFC's birthplace in Temple Fortune, London NW11, namely Princes Park where the embryonic kick-abouts were first held in the mid-sixies. They led to the Club's formation on 28th December 1968.
We have seen many clubs come and go during our 32 seasons in the M(S)FL. Infact, we have dedictated a page on our website in recognition of every team which had folded between 1976 and 2006 (when we marked 30 seasons in the M(S)FL). To still be going strong is an amazing achievement of which we are justly proud. We also have a list showing our First Team's M(S)FL record against every other team since we first entered. This is a club with a lengthy history and we hope you don't mind indulging in a bit of it on this historic day for Temple Fortune FC.
