DEMISED MSFL/MGBSFL CLUBS TRIBUTE

During Temple Fortune's long participation in the Maccabi (Southern) Football League, approaching 200 clubs have folded.

The distinction of participating in the League under its original name and without missing a season falls to Temple Fortune, ever-present since originally joining the MSFL (as it was called then) in 1976. At the close of the 2022-23 season Temple Fortune proudly completed 47 consecutive seasons as a member club of the MGBSFL.

This feature is dedicated to all the former teams which come and gone over the last 46 years, from seasonal regulars over many seasons to the fly-by-night sides who arrived and departed so rapidly. Although several teams appear in the list even though they continued under different or modified names, effectively the teams ‘demised’ under their former identity, hence being included below. For example, Athletico Neasden merged with North West Warriors to become North West Neasden, but both former clubs have been included as ‘demised’ teams.

The list below serves as a tribute to the meritable commitment of many individuals who took on the exciting yet difficult challenge of entering their club into league football only to see it demise sooner or later. Nevertheless, we honour all the undermentioned teams which have disappeared over the course of the past 46 years.
