Nigel qualified as a London FA referee on 3rd January 1975 and has actively continued for more than 50 years, refereeing over 3,250 matches in grassroots football. The biggest game he covered was a 7-a-side charity fixture on the Hallowed Turf at Wembley Stadium in May 1988 infront of a large crowd waiting for the England v Scotland encounter. He has officiated in many cup finals over the years and has a trophy cabinet filled with awards. This section of the website is dedicated to Nigel's refereeing career.
