So what constitutes an 'epic game'? Any memorable fixture which played an instrumental part in the Club's history must be considered whether it was a huge historic milestone, a major achievement or an immence giant-killing act.
As part of the Club's 45th Anniversary commemoration, Nigel Kyte, who is the Club's official historian and keeper of TFFC records and archives, has put together a number of matches worthy of being labelled as 'epic'. "After the Celebration Football Tournament held at Princes Park at the end of 2013," explains Nigel, "I sat with several participants at The Three Hammers enjoying a pint or two whilst sharing around the many TFFC photographs I have, most of which remain unpublished on the TFFC website. Looking at these images inspired me to complete a feature I had thought about for years a collection of our memorable matches."
Considerable research on the website and from the many old newsletters he has in his possession enabled Nigel to gather the information necessary to write up the various matches for the feature. So below is the culmination of his concept and we hope you enjoy it!
